Back in the saddle with Brett Sody at his Sodypop Studio and this time it’s the unique, original music of Con, George, John and Patrick: “Apropos”

This is a cool line-up of Con, electric guitar, vocal and song-writing, John vocal, George acoustic guitar and bazouki, and Patrick, electric bass guitar.

Seven tracks recorded live, no overdubs, all together in the same room (electric guitars DI’d).

Classic Sodypop, pristine, vintage recording chain: Neumann U47, U87, KM184 stereo pair, AKG 414 stereo pair, Urei 1178, SSL master bus compressor, Avalon mic pre amps, Sytek mic pres, Empirical labs distressor and fatso recorded to ProTools. Sweet!

And from this the next project is Amit Rana an up and coming Punjabi rapper.

I’ll be making beats, recording his rap in Punjabi, playing bass and producing his first demo. It should be fun. And I have no idea what to expect…!
